For the Chinese new year in Paris, this time I decided to come the day before the big parade, with its excesses and large crowds, to try and get a more 'intimate' approach to the festivities.
Luckily, I came across a Lion Dance school, which I was able to follow for several hours. In the end, I'm really pleased to have been able to photograph the people behind the costumes.

Describe yourself as a photographer and where you are based
I'm a French street photographer based in Paris. My photographic approach is strongly influenced by the work of the pioneers of color street photography, and is nourished by cinematographic references. I've always been interested in people, and in people in their environment, because I believe that one and the other tell a story together.
I see street photography as a succession of encounters: between a character and a light, between lines and colors, between a before and an after, between a thoughtful idea and a happy coincidence. Above all, I love the idea of giving the mundane of everyday life a filmic color.
Your favorite camera and lens
Leica Q3 + 28 mm.
Your 3 favorite places to shoot
Paris, Istanbul and everywhere else !
According to you, what makes a good picture
In the end, I suppose that a good image is one that transmits an emotion and has the power to keep the viewer absorbed in it.
Its uniqueness comes from the fact that it exists only through the eyes of its author and draws us instantly into his world.
Your favorite photographers and where you get inspired.
To be honest, the list would be too long! My biggest influence comes from the pioneers of color street photography: Fred Herzog, Ernst Haas, Joel Meyerowitz, Harry Gruyaert, Alex Webb, William Eggleston, among many others! But black and white inspires me just as much, as does the work of contemporary photographers and cinematographic works.
