Hello photographers! 👋
In today's edition, we will be exploring a unique approach to street photography. Embracing diverse viewpoints and perspectives in this genre can stimulate personal creativity and encourage the exploration of novel concepts. A perfect illustration of this is the work of Taichi Naitou, who skillfully incorporates elements of abstraction into street photography, a field typically focused on capturing the authenticity of a fleeting moment.

Tokyo is a fascinating city, but if you live there for a long time, you'll get tired of the crowds and advertisements.
I chose to simplify the city and its people by eliminating their complexity as a way to reaffirm the beauty of Tokyo.

Describe yourself as a photographer and where you are based
I am mainly active in Tokyo, Japan. I was looking for something I could be passionate about in life and found street photography. I feel happy when I can forget about work and life and focus on the road in front of me.
Your favorite camera and lens
The main camera I use is Fujifilm's X100V. It is small and lightweight, easy to carry, and has a fixed 35mm lens. I like this because it allows me to focus on what's in front of me without worrying about unnecessary operations. I also use a Sony a7Riii and a 28-60mm zoom lens.
Your 3 favorite places to shoot
Here are three excellent street photo spots in Tokyo, Japan. Asakusa, Ikebukuro, Ginza.
According to you, what makes a good picture
I think it's important that the photographer's individuality is revealed, no matter the genre.
Your favorite photographers and where you get inspired.
I have a lot of photographers that I love and respect. In Japan, Koji Tomihisa, Shin Noguchi, Ulysses Aoki. Outside of Japan, Martin Parr, Edas Wong, Siegfried Hansen.
